We believe in the doctrine of the Trinity. The doctrine of the Trinity affirms the truth that we have one GOD expressed in three persons: GOD the Father, GOD the Son, and GOD the Holy Spirit.
We believe that GOD’S word, the Bible, is perfect and flawless. “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (II Timothy 3:16)” Therefore, GOD’S word cannot be improved upon or added to. JESUS said in Matthew 5:17-18, “Think not that I (JESUS) have come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I have not come to destroy [the law], but to fulfill [it]. For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, [not] the smallest letter or the least stroke of a pen shall in no wise pass from the law, till all is fulfilled.”
We believe that JESUS CHRIST is GOD’S one and only Son (John 3:16). As GOD’S only Son, JESUS is the full incarnation of GOD in bodily form. “For in Him (CHRIST) dwells all the fullness of the GODHEAD in bodily form (Colossians 2:9).”
We believe that JESUS is GOD the FATHER’S perfect sinless sacrifice that was sacrificed for the sins of all mankind upon a cross. “And He (JESUS) is the atoning sacrifice for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world (I John 2:2).”
We believe that JESUS was and is a sinless Man. “For He (The FATHER) hath made Him (JESUS) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of GOD in Him. (II Corinthian 5:21)”
We believe that JESUS is GOD the FATHER’S only provision that leads to eternal life. There is no other way to receive eternal life other than through repentance and faith in JESUS. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of GOD is eternal life through JESUS CHRIST our LORD (Romans 6:23).” And, “…this is the record, that GOD hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He that hath the Son hath life: and he that hath not the Son of GOD hath not life (I John 5:11-12).” And again, “…that by the name of JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom GOD raised from the dead, even by Him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved (Act 4:10-12).”
We believe that all people have sinned and have fallen short of GOD’S glory, but that GOD has made salvation available to all through repentance and faith on the death and resurrection of His Son from the cross (Romans 3:23; 6:23).
We believe that JESUS alone is LORD of All. He is LORD in heaven and over all the earth. “Wherefore GOD also hath highly exalted Him (JESUS), and given Him a name which is above every name: That at the name of JESUS every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that JESUS CHRIST is LORD, to the glory of GOD the FATHER (Philippians 2:9-11).”
We believe that “JESUS CHRIST is the same yesterday, and today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).” Therefore the principles, patterns and nature of GOD in the Old and New Testament are still the same today. In light of this, we believe in all the gifts and offices distributed to the church by the HOLY SPIRIT as seen and taught upon throughout the entire counsel of scriptures.
We believe that we are saved by grace through faith. Salvation cannot be earned and cannot be obtained by man’s good works. Salvation is only possible by GOD. “For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of GOD:
Not of works, lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).”
We believe that JESUS died, rose again and is presently at the right hand of the FATHER making intercession for His church. “Who is he that condemns? It is CHRIST that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of GOD, who also makes intercession for us (Romans 8:34).”
We believe that JESUS is a real King with a real kingdom; He will return to establish His literal kingdom on earth for 1,000 years (Revelations 19:11-21; 20:1-6). “He (JESUS) will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The LORD GOD will give Him the throne of His father David, and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever; His kingdom will never end (Luke 1:32-33).”
We believe in JESUS’ great commission to the church to “…Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15).”
